About Me:

I founded an animation studio in Toronto in 1985, sold the studio in 2004, had a 3 year non-compete and then opened a similar studio in Hawaii in 2009. This studio is a QHTB and was formed as a result of Act 221. In contract to other Act 221 deals, we are dedicated to creating an industry in Hawaii rather than strictly benefitting from the tax credit. Like other start-ups we are having issues and I enjoy the discussions and forums found on Tech Hui.
