- Spent 6 years as a Reactor Operator on a Naval nuclear propulsion plant and mentored others in the process of their reactor licensing certifications. My job demanded the ability to think critically to thrive in high stress scenarios and to adapt to changing conditions in the moment. Although my expertise is in nuclear systems, much of my job included an in depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic microprocessor systems as well as manufacturing, testing, and quality assurance requirements for various nuclear materials.
I am currently a graduate student at UH Manoa for a Master's in Computer Science.
