I suppose this is the opportunity where randomly showing up at a beach in Honolulu with a generator, a dremel, soldering equipment, and Altoids tins -- for the sole purpose of hacking on electronic gadgets -- doesn't raise many eyebrows. :-)

'Surprised I didn't see a single Arduino there. Am I the only Arduino hacker around the islands?
