The HVCA seeks to foster entrepreneurial development through
networking, education, and access to venture capital. On the fourth
Thursday of every month we have a networking luncheon at the Plaza
Club where members and guests hear from a keynote speaker and have
the chance to network. HVCA also hosts the Venture Capital Deal of
The Year award ceremony in January, where entrepreneurs are honored
for raising capital for their companies. HVCA also provides
mentors, coaches and judges for various entrepreneurial events such
as the Hawaii High School Business Competition and the University
of Hawaii Shidler Business School Business Plan Competition. HVCA
is also closely aligned with other key organizations that support
Hawaii entrepreneurs such as Hawaii Angels, a statewide network of
angel investors. Our meetings are open to the public and anyone can
participate with us. To receive notices of meetings and events
please join us or become an HVCA friend.
