hey derek, whats your background? how did you find your way into empowered?

Aloha Aaron - My background has mainly been business development. Originally starting my career in the food business in 1990, I was fortunate to learn and manage product development, import/export to brokerage and distribution. Early on aside from running plans on excel, I was very ignorant on technology and other applications till around 97 when I joined a tech company, started dabbling in web design and created a few sites as a consultant enhancing the business application and structure of a few projects I was involved with.

On finding Empowered, I was looking for a local company with a strong team, fun to work with and had a strong "value-add" business model that stood apart from other web design companies, hence their ZeppOS and SEO capabilities. They know what they're doing and best of all actually have a sense of humor ;-)
