I have enjoyed watching the last few releases as WordPress

About a month ago I queried a number of local web design firms asking if they worked with WordPress, two out of three came back with "No, WordPress is a blog, you should use static HTML"... it saddens me that we are still so behind here (and the other third just never replied)

WordPress and Drupal are the only two CMS's on the market IMHO. With the new taxonomy in the release of WordPress 2.3 and now all of the new page management features in 3.0, it is really starting to catch up to the sophistication of Drupal (at the recent DrupalCon 2010 conference they are set on gaining the ease of launch of WordPress (through DrupalGardens, etc.)

I have nearly 100 sites on WordPress now and just wish that it was out in 2003 before I spent years of my life writing ZeppOS :)
