From Alyssa Murphy:
    Martin + OSA
lululemon athletica (similar, but not as good)

A few I would like to share:
Prada - Beautiful design, terrible usability
Dolce Gabbana - Visually striking design (one of my favorites), UI is 50/50

The game UI I demoed was from EA's Spore.

Speaking of UI, just came across this site. You need to draw an arrow to move around the site. Cool but not sure if every will get it. http://www.red-issue.com/
Wow Scott, that site is creative, but yeah, I don't think it's the most effective UI....
It took me around 10 seconds to enter the site because I didn't draw the arrow correctly, lol.

Hi Dan,

Thank you for hosting last night! I had a great time!

Re: Prada
I agree that the usability is terrible.
I've seen the scrolling slideshow on a number of sites before.
Never liked it because I think it goes too fast and the only way to slow it down is to hover your mouse over it.
Because your mouse slows it down, I assumed that it can speed it up too. But that's not the case - dragging the mouse across the image actually drags the entire window off the page. so that's kind of annoying too

Our pleasure. Its was great having a landing page guru join our meet-up!

Exactly. Also, why do all the Prada links open layered draggable windows? This is just programmers showing off at the expense of usability. Who wants to deal with window management while browsing products?
