New ICS Student
Hi! I'm Quynh and I will be transferring to UH Manoa for my ICS degree next fall. Do you have any advice for an upcoming ICS student at Manoa? Thank you!

Hi, Quynh! I work w/ ICS occasionally on tech outreach as a workforce development specialist. When you declare your ICS major, you will be assigned a faculty advisor. Info and advice is available on their website. I've also attached an undergraduate guide...not sure if you are an undergrad or graduate student. There seems to be a lack of ICS student orgs there, unfortunately. College of Engineering just started a computer sciences track so, if that is your path, then they have student orgs there for support. Find a mentor or pursue an internship when you can. Always good to develop relationships and stay updated with current industry trends.
