Hawaiʻi's Technology Community

On October 24, Saturday the Hawaii Macintosh and Apple User's Society Apple User Group and LCC are having a Geek Day/Mactoberfest at LCC. It's going to be a really good day - hands-on workshops with their media arts instructors, student media project showcases, talks, Profess. Photographers of Hawaii swapmeet. All free, except the food 8-).

We would LOVE to open the day with a side by side comparison of Mac OS X and Windows 7. We're looking for someone who knows and loves Windows 7 who can do a quick fire presentation of the look, feel and features of Windows 7 in 20 min. or so. We'll find someone to do the same for OS X and then you can field questions together. Would anyone be interested and willing to help us with this FUN challenge? We've been looking but guess not in the right places. Mahalo to Daniel for suggesting your group - you're the purists! 8-)

The audience will be the community. This presentation will be our opening keynote and happen about 9:30 am and go for 1 hour. It should be fun and I know a lot of people will be interested in hearing it. Is this possible or is it still secret stuff? 8-)

Any takers or advice?
Mahalo! Joan M jmatsuka@hawaii.edu
