As a Fedora Ambassador representing Hawaii, it is my great pleasure to announce that Fedora 10 is now available

Fedora has a history of being a great "bleeding-edge" platform to develop software against, and F10 continues in this tradition.  With the inclusion of Eclipse 3.4, NetBeans IDE, and popular platforms like Ruby on Rails and Django, along with security features like SELinux and SecTool, the Fedora Team has packed a compelling Feature List into this release.

There are also well-groomed, third-party repositories like FreshRPMs.net that make even more software like Xine and Cinelerra available to your Yum Package Manager (similar to "Windows Update" or apt) - just by installing their Repository Release RPM.

While Fedora is aimed at being "bleeding edge" -- with two releases per year and a 13-month support cycle per release -- Fedora has a stable (fewer updates, longer support cycle), production-ready upgrade path.  Either RedHat Enterprise Linux with full Commercial Support, or CentOS, a free, community-supported version of RHEL.

As always, I am available to advise on Linux (Fedora, RedHat, CentOS, and many others), as well as provide guidance on software development and deployment on these distributions.
