Senior Web UI Developer (Javascript / HTML5 Guru)

Contix, a Honolulu-based startup doing social media analytics, is looking for a senior front end developer who is passionate about Javascript, JQuery and HTML5. A successful applicant will have deep expertise in these areas and non-trivial examples of their work to show. This is not a developer-lite position. If you can engage in an in-depth debate about why Javascript does / doesn't need constructors and enjoy making the canvas component stand on its head, this job is for you. As an early stage startup, new developers will play a significant role in the engineering team and, as such, expectations are very high in terms of skill, motivation, self-organizing skills and productivity. Applicant must excel at working in group settings as well as being comfortable with shifting timelines and changing requirements. Send resumes to career@contix.com.

Unfortunately we currently cannot sponsor visas. We aren't accepting resumes from recruiters for this position. We are looking for core team members in Honolulu. We aren't looking for remote developers at this time, but we are willing to help relocate the right candidate.
