Web Developer Needed

Upspring Media (www.UpspringMedia.com) is a Honolulu-based full-service technology company providing end-to-end software and web solutions including software development, web and mobile app development, web hosting, search engine optimization and high-level consulting services.

We are seeking a Web Programmer to join our team. Must be located here in Hawaii or willing to relocate. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Providing web development support for current clients and projects
• Developing web applications using modular, reusable, and maintainable code consistent with the programming standards used by our company.
• Working with clients to gather project requirements and collaborating with Upspring marketing and design teams
• System architecture and design
• Writing and maintaining software documentation
• Testing, troubleshooting and maintaining applications

Skills

• PHP and Ruby on Rails experience a major plus
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and MySql.
• Self-motivated, good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently on multiple projects to consistently meet all deadlines in a high-paced, dynamic environment
• Good attitude, willingness to learn

Required Professional Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years of business application software programming experience
