Hawaii Computer Training and Solutions (HCTS) and High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) have partnered to host the August networking event for local software developers.

This event will have two guest speakers: Todd Ogasawara and Sean Fox.

1. Todd Ogasawara will be presenting and hosting a discussion about Google+

He is currently a technology analyst/software developer, Senior Contributor for BYTE (part of UBM TechWeb) and a co-editor for SocialTimes.com Mobile (part of  mediabistro.com family of sites). He has been annually named a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in the Windows Phone category for more than a decade. He has written for a variety of paper and online publications including Computer Telephony Magazine, PC World, Microsoft.com and OReilly.com. He wrote the Shortcuts PDF book "Windows for Intel Macs" and contributed a number of process and software "hacks" (chapter segments) to Derrick Story's book, "Digital Photography Hacks" and Paul Bausch's book "Yahoo! Hacks." These books were all published by O'Reilly Media.

2. Sean Fox (managing partner at HCTS) will be hosting a discussion about HawaiiCTS Software Develoeprs Co-op.

HawaiiCTS’ Co-op is a group of software developers joining together so that as they persue projects a team to complete the project can be create from the Co-op members. In effect creating a development team that can bring in the right resource to deliver the solution as needed.  The idea is not unique, it’s how it is delivered that gives us the competitive advantage.
