Hawaiʻi's Technology Community

Are you well versed in a particular technology or application and would like to teach a non-credit class? Continuing education courses at Kapiolani Community College are a great way to share your knowledge, and get paid at the same time. The New Media Arts program has three computer labs that are ready and availible on weeknights, Fridays, and weekends for non-credit, contuining education courses.

Interested? Here's how it works:
  1. Come up with an idea for a course, and write up a short one paragraph description.
  2. Come up with a schedule for the course (ie. does it meet only once? once-a-week for 3 weeks? twice-a-week for 6 weeks? the choice is yours...)
  3. Email your idea to Lance Sato (lssato [at] hawaii.edu), KCC Continuing education coordinator, along with your resume and credentials.

If you are interested, or know of someone who may be interested, or if you have general questions, concerns, or inquiries regarding appropriate technologies, topics, and subject matter, please feel free to contact Chris Gargiulo (gargiulo [at] hawaii.edu).
