To qualify to teach in INFORMATION SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY at University of Phoenix Hawaii Campus faculty member, you must meet the following minimum criteria:

 

  • Masters degree (preferably in computer science) and 5 + years work experience in Information Systems including experience in an Information Technology organization or department.

 

Relevant experience includes:

 

  • Information Technology software development, software maintenance, or hardware installation projects, use of the Systems Development Life Cycle, development or maintenance of business database and data warehouse applications, Computer Systems Integration Design, Systems Analysis, Systems Development, Database Development, Database Management, Web-based business applications, health care technology applications.

 

  • Windows Networking, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access, UNIX, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Informix, Data Flow Diagrams, Object-Oriented, Client Service Architecture, Web Services, (X)HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, COBOL, Java, FORTRAN, Visual Basic, C/C++.
