Sr. Business Analyst/Data Analyst needed

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst/Data Analyst for a direct hire job with benefits in Honolulu. If you meet the following requirements, please email us your updated resume in the word doc format. Referrals are welcome too.

Primary Duties:
•Work with application data SME’s to confirm, validate and verify accuracy of data items and relationships. Develop technical specifications and work effort to remediate errors in the source application data, processes, and document transformation requirements for reconciling the data store and data warehouse to source data
•Research and analyze source application data to be used for target enterprise/strategic business information modeling and reports
•Actively participates and collaborate the design, development and verification of the Operational Data Store and Enterprise data warehouse reporting model
•Develop effective technical specifications for developing target tables, data store, data warehouse, and data mart
•Work with Integration and BI Engineers to develop BI reporting model
•Actively participates with Data Team to develop an understanding of SIF and Enterprise data requirements and the impact from internal and external data sources

Preferred candidates should be experienced in SQL database design, OLAP, DMR, data modeling tools.
Preferred candidates should demonstrated experience and understanding of data modeling, database schemas, 1st to 6th data normalization standard.
Preferred candidates should be skilled in SSIS, MS Office.
Ideal candidates should also be skilled in Visual Studio Team Suite, Cognos.

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or closely related field) plus 8+ years of experience in an IT or software development environment doing business analysis, project management, test development and management, and user engagement support, or Masters Degree with 6 years of experience in an IT or software development environment doing business analysis, project management, test development and management, and user engagement support.
2-3 years of general management experience.
