Solaris 10 System Administration Trainer

PCATT is looking for an individual who has hands-on work experience with Solaris 10 as a system administrator. Previous teaching experience, even in small groups, is very helpful. The selected trainer is expected to develop his/her own lesson plans and labs. Emphasis in the training environment is to teach in a practical way so that participants can take the knowledge back to work for implementation. Training is also expected to prepare individuals to take the "Oracle Certified Associate: Oracle Solaris 10 Operating System" and the "Oracle Certified Professional: Oracle Solaris 10 System Administration" certification exams. The trainer should be familiar with previous versions of Solaris. The trainer would work in the continuing education office on an as-needed basis, depending on requests for training. The selected individual can expect to be observed, evaluated, and provided with assistance by a teacher trainer.
