Job Summary:
As part of the Enterprise Applications team and under general direction of the Director of Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure, the SharePoint / Office365 Developer manages all aspects of HPU’s new web portal environment, including architecture, design, development, reliability, availability, monitoring and performance, security and content management. This is a unique opportunity that will help develop an integrated online presence for Hawaii Pacific University fostering effective collaboration, usability and communication for both our intranet and extranet population.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Business Administration) or equivalent experience
• Experience with the development of SharePoint services including web parts, collections, team sites, wikis, enterprise search, enterprise content management and workflows
• Experience with configuring, securing and maintaining SharePoint server farms on-site or in the cloud; Understanding of MS AD, ADFS, MSSQL and IIS administration
• Experience with interactive media and social media efforts
• Experience understanding fully integrated systems, which may include applications, databases and related systems
Desired Qualifications:
• Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 & 2013, Office365, ASPX, .NET 4.0, Windows Azure, jQuery, SQL 2012, Visual Studio TFS & TFS Azure
• Advanced HTML, Advanced Cascade Style Sheet (CSS), Google Analytics, all social media sites and their tools
• Have a good sense of design, layout, color, and typography
• Have excellent verbal and writing skills
• Photoshop and Illustrator
• Ability to manage complex tasks with minimal supervision in team situation and to effectively communicate with broad range of individuals
• Experience in University computing environment
