Senior Web Software Engineer

We are a newly funded startup in the travel space and we are looking for a senior Windows software engineer to join our small but rapidly growing team.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience designing and implementing Internet-scale web sites. You will report directly to the CTO and work with a small team of experienced engineers to design, implement, and test core pieces of our travel portal. The position will provide daily technical challenges, design decisions, and as much responsibility as you can handle. This is a great opportunity to join a new, dynamic company with a unique technology on the ground floor and help take it to the next level.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• 5+ years experience developing highly scalable user-facing consumer web sites at a massive scale

• Strong software development experience with Javascript, Ajax, HTML and CSS
• Several years working with the C#, .NET framework
• Experience working with Amazon's EC2 would be ideal
• Depth of knowledge in the Windows operating system and databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in small groups
• Previous experience in startups is a big plus
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Passion and desire to make an impact

Education:
• BS Computer Science or equivalent
