As a leader, must be: an excellent communicator and coordinator; a leader that can quickly gain respect from the technical team; friendly and approachable, willing to be interrupted for technical guidance; comfortable with multiple development methodologies such as waterfall and agile, as well as modeling techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a broad background as:
a) technical coach in a commercial Agile environment,
b) systems engineering lead in a government contract environment,
c) business intelligence developer,
d) CMMI implementer, and
e) software architect for backend, middleware, and user interface applications.
Must have a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science and be able to work in our downtown Honolulu office. Must be a US Citizen and be able to receive DoD security clearance.
The Senior Software Development Lead/Architect:
