Kamehameha Schools has a Senior Enterprise Integration Architect position available at the KS Maui Campus. Deadline to Apply: 10/18/2011.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering.

Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least, 2-3 years experience as an integration or application architect.
• Overall, over 7 years work experience in directly planning, designing, developing, and implementing IT systems, specifically in application and/or integration development.

Duties:

• Integration Architecture Implementation: In conjunction with system users, managers, councils, executives and key stakeholders, ensure that the enterprise integration architecture is well communicated and implementable. This requires the facilitation of architecture committees whereby full collaboration can be expected, with cross functionality across ITD and the organization units. Duties include the implementation of the enterprise service bus, the maintenance of enterprise integration integrity, alignment with enterprise security, and ensuring architecture robustness in performance and maintenance.
• Integration Architecture Development: Creates and maintains a comprehensive enterprise wide technological integration architecture plan in accordance with the IT strategic and tactical plans. The plan is based on the IT and operating units' technological direction and is an end-to-end view of integration that includes IT Process, Application, Data, Technical/Infrastructure, and Services architectures. It is this position's responsibility to ensure at a tactical level that the enterprise integration architecture is comprehensive and fully integrated.
• Integration Architecture Analysis: Specifically with regards to integration, this position works closely with Education, Endowment, Trust, Support leaderships and IT staff to analyze existing and emerging integration technologies; plans and helps determine which integration technology direction is appropriate for the education, business and IT units to achieve KS and IT strategic goals. This includes the investigation of technologies that have the potential to create new educational and business opportunities, and/or increase the efficiency / productivity of existing units.
• Integration Architecture Strategy and Processes: Works closely with the IT Planning & Architecture Sr. Manager to facilitate and collaborate with ITD and KS leadership to help develop an enterprise-wide integration architecture strategy and its' corresponding architecture requirements, standards, procedures and guidelines, with the objective of architecting KS' information technology to maximize the value of KS' information technology and minimize the cost, time and effort required to implement and maintain KS' information technology. Clearly articulate and build alignment around integration design and development processes; with an eye on performance and execution.
• Integration Architecture Mentoring: Provides mentoring to the IT Management and IT Staff, in order to ensure that integration architecture principles are understood, adopted and executed in alignment with the overall enterprise process, data and application architectures.
