To support our operation, Kamehameha Schools is hiring for a Senior Database Administrator in the Information Technology Division. This position is located at Kawaiaha'o Plaza. Below are summaries of the minimum qualifications for the Senior Database Administrator position and of the Information Technology Division:

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or closely related field. OR Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field, High School Diploma or GED equivalent and over 10 years of related work experience with a minimum of 3 years of database design and administration experience in implementing and managing databases and 4 years of systems analysis or programming experience.
• At least 7 years in IT field, to include 3 years of database design and administration experience in implementing and managing databases and 4 years of systems analysis or programming experience.
• 3-5 years of general supervisory experience to include planning, directing, staffing, leading, project management and budget administration.
• Thorough knowledge and good monitoring skills in database, network, interactive and host-to-host console operations to ensure resource availability to the users.

Division Summary:  The Information Technology Division (ITD) at Kamehameha Schools, provides support to the organization and operating departments in all activities related to information technology management including: technical support applications development, systems maintenance, hardware/software solutions, security provisions, networking, planning and architecture, and instructional technologies.  ITD strives to be a collaborative partner with education and business units to provide relevant and appropriate technology solutions to help the organization achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
