SDC HAWAII LLC is a Hawaii-based, start-up software development company. We are currently developing the software that drives chi.mp.
chi.mp stands for Content Hub and Identity Management Platform. Chi.mp’s service gives you a free .mp domain and website that serves as the hub for your online identity. With the tools provided by the chi.mp service you can set up a rich profile, import and merge your contacts from across the web, share your web content such as blogs and photo albums, and create levels of privacy so that you can determine who sees what about you. Job Title: Web Developer
Chi.mp is seeking a full-time web developer with experience in XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have experience developing production web applications with valid XHTML and CSS and will have experience in at least one JavaScript framework such as Prototype or jQuery. Primary responsibilities include refactoring existing HTML, CSS and JavaScript to reduce page load time and developing new HTML, CSS and JavaScript for application improvements.
Annual Salary: Salary will be commensurate with the individual’s experience.
Qualifications:
Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience developing web applications.
Technology: Experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. Experience with at least one JavaScript framework such as Prototype is expected. Experience with Ruby on Rails is a benefit. Open source experience is a benefit.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
