Promotes and manages solutions design activities to enhance Professional Services-based opportunities and revenue. Serves as the Area subject matter expert in Ricoh's Solutions, Premier and Specialty Solutions. Partners with Sales teams in Direct or Dealer channel in the presales design process for Professional Services and IT Services. Gains an understanding of the customer's business and technology requirements and creates a compelling business solution and design documents that meet client needs. Possesses advanced knowledge of Capture and Content software solution design and services, as well as consulting services offerings.
  • Support sales teams as Ricoh PS and IT Services expert during once engaged in the presales process and drive to meet or exceed assigned revenue and target metric objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Adheres to Solutions engagement process to design Ricoh portfolio solutions, IT Services and advanced workflow solutions by supporting with Sales Management in supporting customer workshops, vendor shows, symposiums, etc. to promote Ricoh Services.
  • Partners with Marketplace DOS and MVP's, sales management and other constituents throughout RICOH to promote Professional Services strategy and manage the product portfolio.
  • Responsible for working with direct or dealer channel to design Ricoh, Premier and Specialty Solutions offerings through analysis of customer business and technology requirements and the development and design of customized solutions to fit individual customer needs.
  • Applies a consultative approach to all contacts with customer business owner and IT groups in either the LMA, local Vertical or larger SMB accounts utilizing Ricoh's 3D approach.
  • Once engaged, teams with sales force in solution presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts (primarily without install assistance), internal trainings, and solution configuration development related to Professional and IT Services solutions
  • Develops Statement of Work (SOW) and design documentation as a part of the business/technology solution that relates to capture, document/content management and workflow requirements in the SMB, LMA and local vertical opportunities
  • Collaborates with and follows engagement process when assistance is needed from members of other RICOH organizations when supporting expertise and broader solution offerings are required.
  • Designs Ricoh portfolio solutions as well as complex capture, electronic document management (EDM) and document workflow projects.
  • Adheres to and complies with the RICOH methodology framework
  • Participate in advanced solution opportunities by supporting in customer workshops, vendor shows, symposiums, etc. to promote Services offerings.
  • Consistently promotes RICOH Enterprise Services internal and externally. Continually promote the Center of Excellence concept and value to local areas, direct and dealer or other organizations within RICOH.
  • Adheres to and complies with the RICOH design methodology framework to hand of solutions they designed directly to the Install and PMO team.
  • Participate in frequent communication of activities and account status to Management and local marketplace teams and Vertical resources where needed.
  • Support the relevant constituents through sustained activities in presentations, demonstrations related to Services. This involves applying a consultative approach to C-level and IT contacts, using the RICOH methodology framework to analyze the customer's business and technology requirements and developing customized solutions to meet the customer's needs.
  • Develops Statement of Work as a part of the business/technology solution that relates to capture, document/content management and workflow requirements.
  • Engage vendor partners to assist in complex solutions where appropriate.
  • Manage client communications and expectations through the design cycle through to implementation.
  • Participate in assessing the success and profitability of each project and make improvements.
  • Is responsible for the discovery and design necessary to implement a solution that will meet client needs. Must be able to discovery and design through hand of to implementation, in SMB, local vertical and LMA space.
  • Works independently from the implementation team in developing and designing complex premier solutions and utilizes engagement process to obtain additional resource expertise where possible.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and demonstrate a commitment to the RICOH design process, values and business code of ethics.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Typically Required:
  • Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Requires 5 years experience in software solutions design, implementation or software configuration knowledge. At least 4- years working in a sales service organization. And experience in IT environments at least 3 of which is complex solutions and services sales support.
  • 2 years project management or solutions development management experience preferred.
  • Experience calling on a variety of accounts including local major, vertical or national accounts as well as mid-size and smaller firms.
  • Experience working within a team selling environment. preferred Software and Services.
  • Display the ability to be trained on new software applications. Certifications, or training on other software products preferred
  • CDIA+ or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
