Contix, a Honolulu-based startup creating a social media analytics platform for the finance industry, is looking for a part-time native Japanese-speaking Social Media Data Analyst.

The Data Analyst will monitor and review Japanese financial news alerts and contribute to ensuring alert and data accuracy. Additionally, they will help manage lists of trusted Japanese news sources. Successful Data Analysts will have the possibility of being promoted to a full-time Senior Data Analysts / Social Media Knowledge Engineers.

Note: We are also accepting applications for people who can only help with developing the list of trusted Japanese news sources, even if they can't do the alert monitoring part of the job.

The position is available immediately. Starting pay is ~$15/hour + benefits. We cannot sponsor visas at this time. Applicants must be located in the US (ideally Hawaii), and legally able to work without any new visa requirements.
