I am the Director of the Technical Support group for 10gen, an early stage company headquartered in NYC. 10gen develops and supports a 'NoSQL' database product called MongoDB. This product, and our company, in a very short time has gained a very solid reputation as the leader in our field. I am looking to expand the global Support team and am looking into Hawaii as one of the prime locations.
I need to quickly and efficiently fill several positions, including:
Technical Support Manager - someone that has strong managerial skills along with a 'roll up your sleeves' attitude and solid technical background. Someone that can help build the Support team from the ground up while tackling complicated issues.
Technical Support Engineers - I need Level 2 and Level 3-type Support people that can work with the customer community to address their questions and issues, help diagnose very complex problems, write scripts to reproduce problems, review product code and provide, or suggest, solutions based on findings, and much more.
