Job Description: Job Purpose/Objective:

This position will be responsible for analyzing requirements from multiple sources and developing requirement artifacts (specifications, product mockups, use cases, etc) to facilitate the software development process.



Essential Functions (include but not limited to):

· Develop requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement specifications, use cases, business scenarios, published research and workflow analysis

· Manage and provide mentorship and guidance to the analyst team

· Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs, decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a big picture view

· Deliver the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements, business requirement documents, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs

· Develop and utilize requirement specifications according to standard templates

· Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to develop solutions and review designs

· Be the liaison between the marketing, technology teams (development, QA) and support teams (implementation, customer support).

· Work independently w/ strong decision making and problem solving skills and communicate status to project managers and other stakeholders

· Work with Software Architects and Product Managers to gain an understanding of the product vision and design

· Be the primary facilitator to help stakeholders drive open issues and questions regarding product functionality, behavior and general design to resolution

· Work with Transformational Services and Support Tiers to develop and review designs for application behavior



Requirements:

· 4 year degree or equivalent professional experience

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

· Effective problem solving and analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application requirements

· Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels

· Understand the big picture, future vision and develop solutions without technical constraints

· Prior experience w/ software development analysis a plus

· Prior experience in healthcare industry preferred
