ABOUT BIDTOWORK

BidtoWork is a HiBeam-backed. venture-funded startup operating out of Hawaii Kai. We're building an online reverse auction platform that changes the way people interact with local businesses and non-profits. 

THE TEAM

Our team is small, but our Red Bull consumption is quite impressive. Cofounders include Shyrah Maurer (Up & Riding), Brooke Watson (SoHa), Evan Nagle (Mentalpez), and Chad Kumabe (Spilled Paint Studios). 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We're looking for a young developer who's interested in learning and growing as a productive member of our startup. We like learners. We like thinkers. We hope to find a developer who'd like to improve not only his technical know-how but also his entrepreneurial savvy. 

PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT

For the time being, you're probably sitting in it. The team is currently working remotely in our home offices, but we're hoping to have a place of business as soon as we find a good fit.

SKILLS

You must be proficient in the following:

• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript (jQuery)

If you have any experience with the following, it's a big plus:

• C#
• Asp.Net MVC 
• Entity Framework
• MongoDB and cloud-based DBA
• API (creation and consumption)
• LESS

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

We are a funded startup ready and willing to offer FTE. We'll entertain PTE, but FTE is preferred. An internship is also viable.
