Educational Requirements:

Must be enrolled as a University Student in either a Bachelors Degree program (Level 2) or be a Masters or Post Graduate student (Level 3) in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

We can accept 2 levels of Interns based on current learning level:
• Level 2 - Existing College Student in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, or related field.
• Level 3 - Existing Masters or Post graduate Student in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, or related field.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven interest in learning about IT Processes and systems.
• Demonstrated interest in innovative information technology systems and concepts.
• Excellent team player and the ability to work with a diverse team.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, with technical and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to work at least 20 hours a week.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, possibly including evenings and/or weekends.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to change.

Duties:

• Performs ITD tasks as assigned, working in Planning and Architecture with a focus on IT Management and Governance activities.
• This could include but not limited to the following:
• Clerical activities performed in ITD (i.e. meeting minutes, posting documents on Sharepoint, etc).
• Test scripting / writing.
• Technical writing (user or technical documentation).
• User testing.
• Shadowing technical positions.
• Low level managed programming and systems analysis.
