Information Technology Director

Primary Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or computer related field and 7-10 years of network, server, and database administration experience, preferably in Microsoft based environments. Five + years in a direct management role;*
Microsoft Windows suite; data storage (MS SQL Server, MS IIS, TCP/IP, SMTP, DNS, MS Excel, Java Script, and Crystal Reports), Linux, WAN & LAN communication lines, hardware and system software; CRM and CMS.*
Relevant experience in: defining, deploying and maintaining network and system security; capacity planning and monitoring, experience in change control management of hardware, system software and networks;*
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and Excel, and MS Project or a comparable project management software tool.*
Experience supporting MS operating systems and networking technologies – including Active Directory – also required. MCSE and/or MCITP preferred. Providing high performing, high availability technology infrastructure with 7 by 24.*
Must be able to maintain cordial and professional relationships with staff, stakeholders, grant subrecipient organizations, and the general public.*
Other duties as assigned
Secondary Qualifications
*Master Science Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology or a related field.
*
Experience working in federal technology initiatives*
Familiarity with Health Information Technology
