Front-end developer

Ibis Networks is seeking an experienced front-end web developer to contribute to our enterprise-scale energy savings management platform.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Professional experience developing nontrivial web applications
• Significant expertise with front-end development
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or other web frameworks
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap or Backbone
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Solid grounding in UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Solid grounding in OOD, design patterns, and agile methodologies
• Self-directed and collaborative

Nice to have:

• Experience with platform development
• Grounding in system design
• Experience with web-scale architectures
• Experience with EC2 configuration and administration

Work Environment:

Ibis's development team is a collection of senior hardware and software engineers building a highly-scalable and reliable platform in a startup environment. Each of us owns a technical area that we are individually responsible for developing and expanding, but we continuously collaborate on overall direction and system architecture.
