Kamehameha Schools is a private, educational, charitable trust founded and endowed by the legacy of a Hawaiian Princess, Bernice Pauahi Bishop. Kamehameha Schools operates a statewide educational system enrolling more than 6,500 students of Hawaiian ancestry at K-12 campuses on O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i and over 30 preschool sites statewide. To support our operation, Kamehameha Schools is hiring for an HRIS Manager in the Human Resources Department at our Kawaiaha'o Plaza location.  The deadline to apply is:  2/7/2014.  Below are summaries of the minimum qualifications for the HRIS Manager position and of the Human Resources Department:

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, four years of progressively responsible HR related work experience.
  • Five years of experience working with HR and Payroll systems with knowledge of workflow/automation, analysis, and report writing.
  • Extensive hands-on configuration in ERP Human Resource modules. Must have experience in maintaining HR modules in ERP systems and strong functional knowledge of HR modules in ERP systems; experience in PeopleSoft HCM modules highly desired.
  • Ability to lead and develop effective training and evaluation sessions for all levels of users.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

Department Summary:  The Human Resources (HR) Division handles all facets of employment for Kamehameha Schools, including recruitment, benefits, employee relations, employment records, staff development, compensation, and performance evaluations, rewards and recognition.  The HR Division provides assistance to employees and managers, working in partnership to address employee and organizational needs.  Human Resource offices are located on the islands of O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i.
