Database Engineer Position (Honolulu)

Halcyon Analytics Ltd. is seeking applications for its Database Engineer position. The applicant should have completed or be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent. The position will require proficiency with SQL programming, stored procedures, Microsoft Access, SQL Server, VBA, and .Net. Other helpful skills and knowledge include database administration and security and C/C++ programming.

The functions of the job include the maintenance of Halcyon’s SQL Server database, Access applications, SQL / VBA / .Net code, and the structure and content of the investment data that are used for its daily processes. The position will also involve the conversion of existing static database processes into an active, real-time database.
