Senior C# Web / Transact SQL / SSIS Developer

Ikayzo inc., a Honolulu and Tokyo-based boutique software development and interactive design agency, is looking for an experienced C# developer with solid Transact SQL and SSIS skills. In this role he/she will be responsible for designing and implementing applications on the .NET platform using Transact SQL, SSIS and a variety of common libraries and web frameworks. Applicants will have a history of successfully completing nontrivial .NET projects such as web applications and service oriented architectures.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years demonstrable working experience with C# web development
2. Minimum 3 years experience working with Transact SQL
3. Some professional experience with SSIS
4. Familiarity with design patterns and modern OO software architecture in general
5. Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
6. Demonstrable ability to architect solutions at a high-level plus mastery of low-level implementation details
7. Interest in both building and maintaining enterprise applications
8. Ability to work with clients under minimal supervision and direction
9. Strong command of software engineering best practices
10. Consistent track record of delivering quality software on time
11. Reliable, good work ethic, easy to work with
12. A passion for creating great software

Preferred

1. Some professional experience with SSRS

Nice to Have

1. Experience with popular FOSS web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails
2. iOS or Android experience
3. We always like to add foreign language proficiencies

Our interviews are rigorous and cover everything from software architecture to algorithms and data structures. Applicants will be asked to solve coding problems as part of the interview process.
