Kamehameha Schools has a Business Analyst, Senior (Data Analysis) position available at Kawaiaha'o Plaza, O'ahu.

Preferred candidates should be experienced in SQL database design, OLAP, DMR, data modeling tools, Visual Studio Team Suite, and Cognos; demonstrate experience and understanding of data modeling, database schemas, 1st to 6th data normalization standard; skilled in SSIS, MS Office.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, systems, finance, planning, humanities, education, or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.

Summary of Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years operations analyst or related experience.
• Business operations knowledge and experience in relevant area.
• Project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, and resolve issues, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data.
• Ability to use standard PC applications.
• Demonstrated ability to provide consulting and analytical services to leadership.

Summary of Duties:

• Work with application data SME's to confirm, validate and verify accuracy of data items and relationships.
• Research and analyze source application data to be used for target enterprise/strategic business information modeling and reports
• Actively participate and collaborate the design, development and verification of the Operational Data Store and Enterprise data warehouse reporting model.
• Develop effective technical specifications for developing target tables, data store, data warehouse, and data mart.
• Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership by educating/training or performing/facilitating analysis in issue identification, organizational risk assessment and process for decision making.
• Defines and conducts planning studies and larger scale projects.
• Mentors junior analysts as appropriate.
