Where better than Hawaii to launch this?

TalkSurf.com is a modern discussion forum for kiting, stand-up paddling, surfing, and windsurfing. We aim to be the number one website for intelligent discussions about these sports. We aim to have a very high signal to noise ratio in content placed on the site. Part of our strategy of becoming the #1 source for great information about these sports is to get the professionals of these sports involved in the discussions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development of useful discussions on TalkSurf.com

• Encourage water sports professionals (competitors, instructors, shops, equipment makers) to join the list of pros and moderators behind TalkSurf.com.

• Seed content on the site by posting questions, and finding pros, etc. to answer the questions.

• Alternately, find good questions, and post answers.

• Part-time, 10+ hours per week. We’re requesting at least 10 hours and you’re free to work more as you wish.

Qualifications

• Passionate the sports of kiting, stand-up paddling, surfing, and windsurfing

• Connections with professionals in kiting, stand-up paddling, surfing, and windsurfing

• Excellent written English, and loves to read and write about water sports

• Good judgement

• Good with computers
