Summary
Directly participates in, oversees and manages specific areas of system services at a senior level. This position interfaces directly with internal customers and various departments, and facilitates Tier-1/Tier-2/Tier-3 troubleshooting to resolution. There are a number of additional specific processes and services outside of the data center that this position will also support, including most notably internal voice/phone services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following at a senior lead role level.

* AD/Domain Administration
* Tier-1/Tier-2/Tier-3 Troubleshooting
* All IT Data Center server maintenance and support
* Installs
* Maintenance
* Break/Fix
* PM's
* Performance Monitoring
* Fault Management
* Backups and Disaster Recovery
* Upgrades/Updates/Patches
* Exchange 2003/2007 Server Administration
* IT Data Center planning for future growth and build outs
* IT Data Center planning for new server placements and connectivity
* Maintain all IT Data Center documentation
* Full IT Data Center Veritas (Netbackup 6.x) backup responsibilities across all servers
* Full Symantec AntiVirus responsibilities across all servers
* Maintain security across all servers as defined by IT/Best Practices
* Maintain all IT Data Center environmental elements
* Disaster Avoidance planning and ongoing execution
* Partner with IT Data Network Engineers in maintaining all server/network connectivity and security
* After-Hours and On-Call responsibilities as required or defined
* Any other IT duties/responsibilities as may be required or defined

Qualifications

A. Education and/or Experience

* A Bachelor's degree in a related field or IT related degree and/or combination of directly related work experience commensurate to 6-8 years experience is preferred.

B. Professional training and experience
* Current MCSE certification preferred or commensurate work experience
* Other related certifications highly desirable
* Project/Time Management experience highly desirable

C. Computer / Technical Skills
* LAN/WAN experience required
* Solid and current experience in all/most of the following:
* Windows 2003/2008 Server
* Unix (HP-UX)
* Sun Solaris 8, 9, 10
* Linux
* SQL Server & SQL Database Administration
* Informix/Oracle Database Administration (desirable)
* Sharepoint Support/Administration & Database Support
* FTP Server
* VERITAS Netbackup 6.x
* Tape Library Robotics Management & Administration
* Symantec AntiVirus
* AD Administration
* DNS/DHCP Administration
* Fiber Connectivity/SAN
* SAN Storage Management & Administration
* Load Balancing, Clustered Configurations Setup, Management & Administration
* 'High Availability' concepts & designs
* Web Services
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Other Skills and Abilities
* Demonstrated work experience in project and task management proficiency with the ability to prioritize and execute accordingly
* Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned projects
* Ability to work in a changing environment while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity
* Must be able to function as a member of a team but able to work and remain productive while working independently with little or no supervision
* Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on assigned projects
* Able to maintain a professional manner during difficult escalation situations
* Present a professional image in customer fronting situations

Physical Demands
* May work at a desk for extended hours.
* Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
* Must be able to work varied work hours, 'On-Call', including evenings, weekends and holidays.
