Cocoa Developer

Blue Lava Technologies is a Hawaii based venture building a really awesome way to organize and share all your photos using funky stuff like facial recognition and artificial intelligence.

We're looking for a highly talented Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team in the architecture and implementation of our platform.

Required:

* 8+ years of systems-level Unix/Linux development experience
* Proven track record of strong coding and individual accomplishments
* Extensive experience developing desktop applications
* Solid Understanding of video compression and image processing technologies
* Competency in distributed systems
* Extensive experience programming in Cocoa, Objective C, C/C++, with strong OO skills
* Python experience a plus
* p2p experience a plus
* In-depth knowledge of network protocols and database design
* BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
* Must be a self starter who is capable of working with a team. Non Start-up types need not apply.
