My pleasure. I'm glad you found it useful. As a Swing guy you may also find this blog post about using painters in Swing and WinForms (C#) interesting.

To really learn C# (once you've evaluated the web, and decided to dive deeper), I recommend these books. They're excellent starting points to really understanding the language, and double as reference books as you move forward. I'm sure you can find them at a local Library.

I also have some video from Anders Hejlsberg (on C# 3.0) and Jim Hugunin (on the .NET DLR) from Lang.NET 2008, and can post them here if anyone's interested.
