Event Description

Part I - Favorite Places
Lepp takes you to places he loves to photograph --Alaska; Africa; Antarctica; Holland's Keukenhof Gardens; California's Eastern Sierras, Central Coast, and poppy fields; Canada's Hudson Bay; Chilean Patagonia; and his home state of Colorado. And in this era of rapidly advancing environmental change, he explores the dilemmas faced by some of his favorite locations and the photographers' role in documenting and protecting the subjects and landscapes they love.

Part 2 - Digital WOW!
Lepp reveals some of the most exciting new imaging options that re-defining the field of photography by surpassing the limits previously set by film. He presents magnificent panoramas, macro and landscape images with unlimited depth of field, high-definition time-lapse movies, daytime lightning captures, and composited perfect exposures, all part of the gifts and challenges of the digital age of photography.

George Lepp is one of North America's best-known contemporary outdoor and nature photographers, and a leader in the rapidly advancing field of digital imaging. He is the author of many books and the field editor of both PCPhoto and Outdoor Photographer magazines, where his “Tech Tips” column is widely read.
