What skills and knowledge do you need to create a new web page or to maintain an existing website? What possibilities exist to improve your pages or to add major new features?
PNM offers a broad range of courses designed to address these and many other issues facing web designer. The breadth of subjects and issues can be daunting for novice or prospective web designers. This workshop helps by providing a general overview of the web design process. You can see where the pieces of the web design puzzle fit together and discover which tools (e.g., Dreamweaver, Photoshop) and information (e.g., sitemaps, wireframes) you need to build better websites.
Colin Macdonald is the director of web operations for the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has conducted traditional media and multimedia training courses in Asia, Hawai`i, and the continental United States for nearly 20 years. He is a core faculty member of Pacific New Media.
