Pupus, beverages, and tech!
From Algae to Biofuels and Bio-products. Algae holds the promise for a more sustainable future. This talk will present Cellana's technology and business pathways to bring algal biofuels to commercialization.
Xuemai Bai is Principal Scientist at Cellana. She received a PhD in Marine Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, Stennis Space Center in 2004. Her Ph.D. research was focused on photosynthetic carbon flux direction (i.e. lipids, carbohydrate and protein) under different environmental regimes and separation techniques for photosynthetic end products of algae.She leads Cellana’s R&D efforts.
This pau hana is BYOB/potluck, so please bring a pupu and beverage to share. Reusable plates and cups are encouraged, as is taking home your own trash.
