Event Description

Pau Hana for Techies in West Hawaii

Come network with scientists, engineers, programmers, and other people in the tech business.

Speaker: Christopher Cooke and David Parsons are Project Consultants with the Kohala Center in Waimea.  They are developing an energy sustainability plan for Hawaii Island under contract with the County of Hawaii.  In May, this plan will be in draft form, and they will be seeking feedback from the community.  At our pau hana, they will discuss their methodologies for gathering and analyzing energy data for the island.  They will also share an overview of the draft document and a vision for our energy future.

This event is potluck, so please bring a pupu to share and a drink.
