Event Description

Honolulu's Organization for the Understanding of Dynami-awesome Languages presents a talk on functional programming.

Shu Zong Chen (a.k.a. @sirpengi), of HICapacity.org fame, champion of Hawai`i coders, will present our next exciting talk on Functional Python.

TOPIC DESCRIPTION: Python is a very dynamic language, supporting a variety of programming paradigms.  This talk will introduce you to one of the possible paradigms: Functional Programming.  We'll go over the fundamentals of functional programming, and give lots of examples of how to use/implement these concepts in Python.

Cake Couture cupcakes, in four distinct flavors, will be served.  This is a manner of atonement for the Stonehenge cheesecake fiasco.
