Responsive Web Design with David Hogue

This one-day seminar covers how to apply the principles of good interaction design across a wide range of devices and it prepares students to create interaction designs that work seamlessly across different screen sizes. Discussion includes content layout and scaling, how to select break points, and effective responsive design patterns in the context of a hands-on project. Familiarity with common design programs is preferred; coding skills are not required, but front-end developers are welcome to attend.

David Hogue is a UX design manager at Google, digital strategist, teacher, author and designer. He has been studying user behavior and designing interfaces since 1997, and combines his skills as a designer and psychologist to bring deeper insight into users' behaviors and motivations when interacting with digital devices and interfaces. He is also as Adobe Community Professional (ACP) and User Group Manager.
