As access to the web via mobile devices outpaces desktop use, it's important to provide the best experience for accessing the web through various means. A recent, popular method to accomplish this is through responsive web design. This session looks at how responsive web design affects your current and future designs as a whole. Explore topics related to visual layout, content strategy, and the "Mobile First" mindset. Basic tools are introduced that get you on your way to thinking responsively.
Charles (Ka'a) Kihe has worked in web design and development for over 15 years. He has worked for various places as both a front-end and back-end developer, including Kapi‘olani Community College, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Bigger Bird, Inc, and Digital Mediums.
