Learn how to make interactive websites with the most popular and powerful language on the web, JavaScript. Learning JavaScript is extremely useful if you are a web designer, but can be very daunting if you don’t have any experience or background with programming. Using jQuery, the most popular JavaScript library in use today, along with jQuery plugins, you can enhance your web pages with the same essential working knowledge of HTML & CSS you currently use to build a site today. Learn how to add slideshows, lightboxes, image galleries, and other types of interactive elements to your web pages using this handy library and its associated plugins. By the end of this session, you will gain a basic understanding of how to use JavaScript via jQuery in your projects today.
A basic understanding of HTML & CSS is required.
