We're finally doing it. Peter Hwu has volunteered to give us a intro to programming using Eclipse. There's a lot of ground to cover, so he'll be covering a basic intro. Then, he'll dive into specific areas depending on audience interest. Do I smell a future workshop?

But, first things first. I recently heard a call go out from a recently-funded local startup, looking for Android developers. The call was answered with total silence. "Sounds" like an opportunity... maybe?

I'm firmly entrenched in the Apple camp right now, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how the other half lives (no BB and Windows Mobile don't count).

OK, come on out... and perhaps chime in on the discussion board to help steer the direction of this effort.
