Event Description

This class exams how to maintain a successful commercial photography studio, including:
– Equipment needs and interpersonal skills
– How to know what you love to shoot and where you excel
– How to find the clients that you want—and that can pay
– How to scout a location and prepare a proposal
– On location protocol
– Details of keeping a good paper trail and how to deliver files
- How to process and fine tune your finished files to keep everyone happy - particularly yourself
- How to prepare your files for client delivery
– Understanding how to be hired again and again

Ric Noyle, a native of Cape Town, South Africa, has operated a commercial photography studio in Honolulu for the past 30 years. His award-winning photography has been used and enjoyed by a vast worldwide clientele. Noyle’s clients range from lingerie work for Korean ad agencies, swimwear from Japan, to working with the majority of Hawai‘i’s resorts, ad agencies and manufacturers. Extensive aerial photography is one of his other specialities along with fashion and food photography.
