Honolulu, Hawaii – The Children’s Discovery Center will host a bon dance especially for keiki and their families. If you’ve never been to a bon dance, this is the perfect setting to learn, and if you are a bon dance expert, come and join the fun! Festivities will be led by members of the Honopa Hongwanji group and will include dances especially for children, such as the Pokemon Ondo.

The Hawaii Children's Discovery Center is a world-class, children's museum filled with hands-on, interactive exhibits on three levels. Formerly the site of the old city incinerator, the Center was transformed after nearly 20 years of hard work and dedication by volunteers. It opened in 1998, and has become a special place for Hawaii's families to play, discover and learn together.
Located at 111 Ohe Street in downtown Honolulu, the Center is open on Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and on Saturday to Sunday from 10am to 3pm. General admission is $10 per person.
